David Ingimarsson joins DTE as CFO
Davíð Ólafur Ingimarsson has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of DTE. He previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Men & Mice from 2022, before it was acquired by the international corporation BlueCat Networks in May of this year.
Prior to his current role, Davíð served as the CFO of the software company Greenqloud and played a crucial role in its acquisition by the US-based company NetApp. He also held the position of CFO at Guide to Iceland, which General Electric partly acquired and from there moved to Tryggingastofnun.
Davíð served on the board of the Public Pension Fund from 2016 to 2022 and has also been a member of the boards of several other companies.
“We are thrilled to have Davíð join us as the CFO. He brings an immense wealth of experience in various financial domains and is familiar with DTE’s path, distinct from other start-ups he has closely followed. He will be a solid addition to DTE in the coming future,” commented Karl Matthiasson, CEO of DTE.
Davíð holds a B.Sc. in Economics, an M.Sc. in Economics, and M.Sc. in Corporate Finance, and is a licensed stockbroker.
